What does being a Stacking Days Trainer mean?
You give Stacking Days permission to use your name, image, likeness, voice, and digital avatar with its basketball training platform and marketing. "Trainer" is a platform designation. You are not being hired to provide live coaching or other personal services.
How do I get paid?
Trainers earn 50% of qualifying Subscription Revenue attributed to them, including renewals. At $15 per athlete per month, a full-price qualifying payment generates $7.50 for you. Discounts, refunds, and other Agreement adjustments can affect your royalties.
When will I be paid?
Royalties are calculated by calendar month and paid within 10 days after month end. Your statement shows your Trainer Athlete count, royalty rate, attributed revenue, and adjustments.
How does an athlete become one of my Trainer Athletes?
Athletes select a Trainer when they subscribe. Each successfully processed subscription payment is attributed to the Trainer selected when that payment is processed.
Can an athlete change Trainers?
Yes. A processed payment stays with the Trainer selected when it was made. Future payments follow the Trainer selected when those payments are processed.
Do I have to promote Stacking Days?
No. Promotion is optional and is not required for you to receive royalties from qualifying payments attributed to you.
Can I promote Stacking Days if I want to?
Yes. You may voluntarily promote through social media, email, flyers, QR codes, camps, leagues, and similar methods if you follow your Agreement and applicable rules.
Do I need to disclose that I am paid by Stacking Days?
Yes. Clearly disclose your financial relationship. For example: "I receive a portion of subscription payments from athletes who select me as their Trainer."
Can I hand out Stacking Days materials at my school?
Only with school approval. Ask your Athletic Director before using school property, facilities, games, camps, leagues, practices, or other school-controlled activities for promotion. Facility or property use must also follow the school's generally applicable facility-use or leasing policies.
Can I use school, camp, or league email lists?
Only with permission. Having access to a list does not automatically mean you may use it for commercial promotion. Confirm authorization with your Athletic Director or the organization responsible for the list.
Can I post about Stacking Days on my personal social media account?
Yes, if the post follows your Agreement and applicable school, IHSAA, platform, and advertising requirements. Do not suggest that your school sponsors or endorses Stacking Days.
Can I wear my school uniform or school-branded clothing in promotions?
No. Promotions may not use school names, team names, logos, mascots, uniforms, athletic achievements, or other school representation.
Is Stacking Days affiliated with my school?
No. Your Trainer relationship is with Stacking Days LLC. Your school does not sponsor, endorse, or become affiliated with Stacking Days because you are a Trainer.
What can my digital avatar do?
Your avatar may encourage and guide athletes and may use generated or edited audio within your Agreement. It must be identified as digital and cannot imply that you are providing live personal coaching.
Can Stacking Days use my photos, voice, or other parts of my likeness?
Yes. The Agreement permits use of your name, image, likeness, photographs, voice, voice characteristics, and digital avatar for the uses allowed by the Agreement.
Can my AI avatar say things I never personally recorded?
Yes, within the Agreement. Recordings you voluntarily provide may be used to create an AI-generated version of your voice and generate statements you did not personally record. Stacking Days may not make materially false statements about you. Unrelated endorsements or personal opinions require separate written permission.
Can I see what my avatar is allowed to say?
Yes. You, or a parent or guardian who signed your Agreement, may request the current complete list of your avatar's audio statements.
What happens if I sign while I am under 18?
You and a parent or legal guardian with authority to consent must sign before the Agreement becomes effective and before Stacking Days uses your likeness. Your parent or guardian also consents to the likeness, avatar, AI voice, royalty, and termination terms in the Agreement.
What happens when I turn 18?
If you signed as a minor, Stacking Days will send an adult-confirmation request on or after your 18th birthday. You must sign Addendum A within 30 days after the request is delivered to your designated email. Missing the deadline does not automatically end your Agreement, but Stacking Days may terminate it by written notice.
What if I stop playing basketball or change schools?
Contact Stacking Days if your school or athletic status changes. A change in school or basketball participation does not automatically end your Agreement.
What if I want to stop being a Trainer?
You may terminate the Agreement at any time, with or without a reason, by written notice. Stacking Days may terminate only for reasons allowed by the Agreement, including breach, misconduct, compliance concerns, failure to timely complete required adult confirmation, or permanent closure.
What happens to athletes who selected me if my Agreement ends?
Stacking Days will remove you from the Trainer selection list and, unless the business or platform permanently closes, reassign remaining Trainer Athletes within seven calendar days. You continue earning royalties on qualifying payments attributed to you until reassignment. Earned royalties remain payable.
What happens to my photos, avatar, and likeness when my Agreement ends?
Stacking Days must stop new commercial uses immediately. Existing materials on public channels it controls must be removed or edited within seven calendar days. Certain private legal, tax, accounting, security, or archival records may be retained for noncommercial purposes.
Do I have to pay taxes on the money I receive?
Trainer payments may be taxable income. You must provide a completed Form W-9, and Stacking Days will provide required tax reporting forms. You and your family are responsible for your individual tax obligations.
What should I do if I am not sure whether something is allowed?
Ask before doing it. Contact Stacking Days about your Agreement or Trainer relationship. Bring school property, branding, uniform, email-list, camp, league, or school-activity questions to your Athletic Director or the appropriate organization before promoting.
